I thought advanced optimus was clearly the option you would use since its release over regular optimus years ago but I had just recently realized it might not be. The advanced optimus will straight switch to dgpu if you open something that needs it, I want to use the dgpu only for programs that need it while keeping the laptop in overall igpu mode. The only way to do that is using regular optimus, correct?
The reasoning is simple, I want to play videogames in a window while i browse the web.
