Do i3 7100 supports DDR4 RAM or DDR3 RAM?

Guys I really need suggestion from you!

Guys can you please tell me which RAM do i need DDR4 or DDR3 for Intel i3 7100 processor ? In i3 processor it's mentioned DDR3 ram while my motherboard supports DDR4 ram! So guys I really need some suggestions from you !

Any gen 7 can support DDR4

Since the motherboard uses DDR4 you need DDR4. However that board requires a bios update to work with 7th gen cpus. A b250 board would be a better option. Also a pentium g4560 has almost the same performance of that i3 for less money.
