Do Intel CPU retail boxes have good heatsinks?

I am purchasing an Intel CPU and I'm wondering if the heatsink it comes with will keep it cool. I do not plan to overclock my CPU. Will the heatsink I added to my build list (not stock) interfere with my ram, size-wise?

If OC'ing is not a plan, might as well get the i5-4690 normal instead of the unlocked 'K' version. Stock fan should be okay for use. However it is always good to get an aftermarket fan. The H212 Evo that you have is the best B4B fan for normal use. Your ram size is still perfectly fine, I imagine 8GB will still be viable for the next couple years if not more. Games are now starting to require more ram, but it is not a overwhelming populace of them.

Those push pin stock coolers are garbage. Get a real cooler that mounts with real hardware.
