Hi, My system is an older MB AMD 3+ with a Phenom II X6 and the problem with this CPU is that it does not support SSE4.1 For playing War Thunder the CPU must support it and since it does not I can only play the game in 32 bits mode.
This slows everything down.

I was thinking to purchase an AMD FX 8300 or likewise.

However I stumbled across a few notifications that Intel CPU's work much better with Nvidea GPU's than AMD.

Is this true and why is it?

List your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

In all honesty, AMD's previous lineup were more of a room heater than anything and it's also one of the main reasons why most people suggest going for Intel over AMD when looking squarely at the FX-8000/9000 series of processors.

FX8xxx series is outdated in performance already since 1-3 years.
It is also a heater, literally, compared to the newer procs. This means, your electrical bill will be "funnier".

If you want new proc, go for AMD Ryzen or Intel Coffee Lake.

As for which one is better for 750ti, if the procs are on the same performance class, you won't see the difference between AMD and Intel.
