Question Do Internal Motherboard Speakers for Beep Codes Still Work?

I bought a cheap motherboard internal speaker for Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite motherboard. Is it possible to test its functionality buy reproducing beep codes without actually disconnecting hardware?

What?!
If the speaker is connected then if the mobo has beep codes it will make the beeps.
Otherwise there is nothing you can do about it.

There are pci post boards that are supposed to give out the post error codes for mobos that don't have that onboard.
