[SOLVED] Do internet user affect internet speed

Hello, Do the number of internet user affect the internet speed?
My internet become fast at day and become slow at night.
Do this happen because of the number of internet user?

My time zone GMT+7 Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta

Maybe it really depends on what you are attempting to access.

Obviously if you have more people inside your house using internet and you do not have a large internet connections you can use all your bandwidth and it will be slower.

To some extent this is also true of say a cable system where you share bandwidth with your neighbors. This used to be a huge problem but ISP have upgraded the capacity so much that it is not very common to see this problem anymore. If you have a crappy ISP then they maybe over selling their network capacity.....telling everyone they can have 1gbit but hook thousands of houses to the same cable.

This is very common on popular games. The servers have lots of people on them at certain times of day and they are slower.

Not a lot you can do about this. You can run tracert command and it might show you where the delays are
