Do lag spikes break pc's?

Hey just a quick question, can lag spikes break a pc?
Couldn't find this on the internet so i figured i would ask it here.

The lagspike itself is not going to hurt anything with your PC.

lag is spikes in an internet connection. you may be getting them confused with power spikes which are like power surges which could damage your PC

FPS drops won't hurt your system, although you may want to find out what's causing them (high temps/PSU quality/etc).

FPS drops are a symptom of something, not a cause of any damage.

I think i know what the cause is, its because its a server and people spawn way to many props in it. Could this be the case?

Playing on that server won't hurt your system but may be annoying if your getting those lag spikes occasionally.
