Do laptop screen revisions matter ?

I'm replacing the screen inna laptop that was given to me and it uses a Quanta QD15XL04 Rev.02 15" XGA LCD Screen. There is a bunch on ebay, but I need to know if the revision number of the replacement has to be the same as the original? The original is a Rev .02. Thanks!

Thanks. There is one that's a revision .03 that I'm looking at. Wonder how much difference there could be?

Yeah, he wasn't totally sure. That's why I wanted to get opinions from some experienced lap top fixers...

You might find someone in the Laptop/Notebook section of the forum, but I doubt it.
That's pretty exotic type details, knowing the differences between REVs of LCD panels.
