Do LEDs on a Keyboard or Mouse dim overtime?

I just noticed that my Keyboard is Dimmer than before. The brightness is all the way up. Now I'm scared if my New Fantech X4 Titan's LED will dim

Could well be the case.

Maybe a counterfeit product.

Perhaps power related:

Try the keyboard on another computer or two to determine if the LED's get brighter.

Try using the keyboard via a separately powered USB hub. See if that brightens the LED's.

Key is to determine if the problem is with the keyboard or power source.
