My specs
AMD FX 8320 black edition
ASUS strix r7 370 4GB
8GB of ram
600 w power supply
And I also run a 1920x1080 resolution

Okay so what I really want to know is this do most games support crossfire in this generation of games? I want a cheap upgrade which would be another r7 370 4gb. Do you guys think it would be worth the 160$ to crossfire them? I just want to be able to run high settings at 60fps for smoother game play for open world games like the Witcher 3.

Solution
Nearly all games today support CrossfireX and SLI.

However, just like Dulith said, get a better single GPU graphics card instead of crosfiring them. CrossfireX is only good from a performance & price effective stand point if you pair two or more of the most powerful GPUs on the market, like the R9 390X, Fury, Fury X, GTX 970, GTX 980, & GTX 980 ti.

600W is enough if it's not a corsair cx vs or a tier 3/4/5 psu which are low quality...

cons bad optimization in games..
more power consumption and since u have a amd build u will be cutting it edge I suggest get a 960 which would be a far more better option if u can get a 970 it will do for about 4 years more

dual cards will usually win fps benchmarks.
But a single good card will game better.

Because two graphics cards do not render their part of the image in exactly the same time, you have increased exposure to stuttering and screen tearing.

If you can sell your R7-370 for $150 or so on ebay, the proceeds and $160 will buy you a GTX970 which is about as good as you can do with your FX-8350 at 1080P.

GTX970 will run on 500w.
