Do motherboard xmp profiles have a long term affect on memory?

Its technically making it go faster so does it have any sort of effect on memory lifetime?

The DRAM has been tested to run at the given spec (XMP profile) so should have no problem and any reputable DRAM comes with a lifetime warranty. They can go bad yes, just like anything else, but I don't remember the last time I had a stick go bad if it had worked through the first couple weeks in years and years
