[SOLVED] Do motherboards have SSD storage gb limits?

I just got a 2020 hp omen 15 I got the intel 512 + 32 optane and wanna upgrade/ add another SSD . When I look up specs its says Up to 1 TB PCIe® NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD or
512GB Intel® SSD + 32 GB Intel® Optane™ memory or
Two 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD with RAID 0 configuration.
does this mean the total SSD size is a TB or 1TB per slot.

Those are what the unit was available with from HP.
The only thing holding you back is $$ and large SSD availability.
