Do my motherboard and case support the Asus R9 280 Matrix?

I'm planning to build a PC with a Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H motherboard and a Corsair 500R case. I'm able to get the Asus R9 280 Matrix for relatively cheap, but... will it fit? It uses 3 slots and it's pretty big, and I don't know if my parts will support that.

How cheap are we talking here? Because Sapphire makes good quality Radeon cards as well only taking up 2 slots and are affordable. Though, I think it could support the card. Probably just issues with Crossfiring if you plan to in the future.

€294 for the Asus 280X Matrix vs. €325 for the Sapphire 280X Toxic. I don't think I will use Crossfire in the future.
