Do PWM Fans Automatically Change RPM?

Hello.

I'm currently making the decision between a PWM or non-PWM Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition to cool my CM Hyper 212 EVO.

Is it worth the extra couple of pounds to buy the PWM or not?

Also, will the RPM of a PWM fan change automatically if the CPU temps get higher or lower?

Hi, If the CPU_Fan connector on the motherboard is 4 pin, then buy a PWM one.
Its speed is automatically controlled, depending on the CPU temp.

yup if your mobo supports it, the pwm is worth the few extra bucks. it will automatically change rpm as needed, though you can still set manual fan curves and profiles if you wish through the provided software
