Do Sata 2 Wester Digital hard drives use the sata connection for power

I am installing two new WD Sata 2 hard drives in a new build computer. The PSU did not include cables to connect to the Hard drive. Does the hard drive power of the SATA cable or do I need to order additional cables?

A SATA drive requires separate data and power connections. Usually both are flat ribbon cables. The data ribbon has only 7 wires in it; the power supply ribbon has 15, so it's twice as wide.

It is uncommon for current PSU's to have no SATA output connectors. But if you really do not have any, you'll need an adapter to convert a 4-pin Molex PSU output into a SATA power connection. For example, here's one that gives you two SATA power from one 4-pin Molex:
