Do scratches in cases matter?

Well my computer was new and had issues, I brought it to the technician and it got scratches on the way

Well did the Tech scratch it? I can say for sure I would not like scratches on my In Win Dragon Rider White or In Win GRone White edition cases. But then neither were cheap cases when I bought them.

If a shop made the scratches I would bring it to there attention as a professional should take better care of equipment than that. I know I take every precaution I can protect customers equipment including the case it is just part of the job. I it got scratched by you transporting it that is another thing altogether.

It doesn't look that bad right?

Really boils down to your preference, unforgottenmaid. Some people would weep if a spec of dust landed on their car, and others drive beat up jalopies and don't give it a second thought. Computer cases often get beat up over the years, especially if they're shared among multiple users, or used in a family environment. To some technically inclined, computers have taken on the role akin to the muscle car. 🙂

I agree with bryonhowley that it is very important to respect others' property when you are charged with handling it in some professional manner. Having somebody scratch my computer chassis would be about as amusing to me as somebody putting greasy paws all over an LCD screen, or perhaps, like smudging somebody's glasses. I would likely not give return business. On the other hand, I care more about the cleanliness of my computer and how it runs, rather than how it looks. A "nerd" (can I even use that term anymore) is probably just as likely to judge you for how many popups and icons you receive from your system notification area than the scuffed surface of your computer chassis. 🙂

No. I scratched iron the way walking bevause it was too heavy, so I had to leave it on the wall for a sec so it scratched. Had a big plastic sheet over it back forgot to put it on after I left the technician.

Well, to reference bigpinkdragon, the scratches are not going to hamper operation.
Next thing to evaluate, since you say some went down to metal; is the PC/case going to be anywhere that it will be seen OR that you have to look at it all the time? If not, then the effort to repair the scratches may not be worth it.

So, if you want to try to fix it, here's what I would do.
Take a side panel to a paint store that sells or specializes in automotive paint (best choice) or to a store that sells model airplanes/car/ etc. The paint store can probably match the color or come pretty close, possibly with something off the shelf such as a "Scratch touchup paint" thing (I don't know what they are called anymore, people use them to touch up small scratches in their cars): At a model shop find a small bottle of Pactra Model paint in the color closest to your panel.
At home, take a small piece of 0000 or 00000 steel wool and very lightly clean up the scratches. I think you will find there is very little metal actually exposed.
Carefully, with a small paint brush or maybe, if the metal showing is really tiny like a scratch from a pin, use a round toothpick
and paint the exposed metal.
Give it 2-3 days to dry completely and harden up. Then use a little rubbing compound and lightly buff out that scratched areas by hand; not to hard, not to long/much, and very lightly. Next do the same with the polishing compound.
Hand buff the areas with a terry cloth or flannel cloth. You can put wax on it if you want a glossyer (sic) surface.
Let us know how it went

I might do it when it arrives, I'll see.

And in the future, maybe we can help you with your need for a technician so you don't have to lug the computer into the shop. 🙂

Best of luck with your touchups. Sharpie works on black powder coats, if it's not too obvious. Sorry it won't help here. Or conversely, you could take the chassis to an art class and see if a student or instructor could get you a nice paint job to work with the scratches, such as a nice patina. 🙂

Nah it looks minor enough.
