[SOLVED] Do surge protector actually protect your PC from all damages?

A surge protector will protect your PC from brief voltage spikes that may damage components.

...as far as voltage fluctuations....which to me means "voltage changing slowly over time".....no...it will not protect against that.

the teardowns show the good and the bad about surge protectors. They are not all created equally.
