I've been noticing some issues while playing intensive games, particularly BF4. The framerate consistently drops down to very low levels that makes playing the game frustrating. Also note that frame-limiting BF4 just makes the framerate drop to even lower levels.
Here is the FPS for BF4 and FC3 Blood Dragon:
BF4:
-Frames: 2127 - Time: 32401ms - Avg: 65.646 - Min: 35 - Max: 91
-Frames: 5623 - Time: 88203ms - Avg: 63.751 - Min: 35 - Max: 88
FC3:
-Frames: 3455 - Time: 60000ms - Avg: 57.583 - Min: 40 - Max: 73
-Frames: 3461 - Time: 60000ms - Avg: 57.683 - Min: 41 - Max: 75
Do these seem problematic? I was thinking it may be a power issue, as I'm not sure my PSU can adequately supply both 7770's at this level. But even when I turn down the graphics to very low resolution where it shouldn't be straining the cards or PSU (1280x800 or even 720p, low settings), the FPS is still all over the place.
System specs:
CPU: i7-2600
GPU: Crossfire 7770's
Mobo: Asrock Extreme3 Gen3
PSU: Corsair CX430
RAM: 12GB (3x4GB) G.Skill Ripjaws 1600
SSD: Intel
HDD: WD
