I plan to build a new gaming PC. I did my research and selected the parts based on the most frequently mentioned and recommended brands and their best prices. I ordered most of the parts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday and some parts can still be returned. However, I would appreciate your feedback and suggestions on possible changes or issues before I take the components out of their packaging and begin the building process. The primary use will be for gaming at 1440p. Secondary uses will be for basic drone video editing, music CD ripping, and music listening. Like many other PC builders, I too am waiting for stock availability for the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU and a video card. On the subject of the video card, I have not yet decided on whether I will go with the Nvidia RTX 3070/3080 (or their Ti variants if they become available in the next couple of months) or a Radeon RX 6800/6800XT. I do not plan to overclock and I am not looking at fancy cosmetics or lighting systems. What I want is a reliable gaming PC that is properly built, meets my gaming and video editing needs, has the maximum amount of cooling for the case, case fans that are as quiet as possible, provides good audio quality for games, streaming, movies, and music, and avoid possible bottleneck issues. Although it is not listed, I will be adding a second DVD burner drive to the build for my CD ripping so I can rip two audio CDs at once. I will also be looking into using a wired Internet connection for online gaming. The parts that I have ordered so far (except for the CPU and video card) are listed below.
Thanks.
