Currently I have a 1TB HDD + 120GB SSD combo on my PC but the constant battle for 20% free space on the SSD on which my OS and one game I'm playing at a given moment sit has become really tiring and so, since the prices of SSD drives has gone down since I've bought my current one, I thought about adding a second SSD for the sole purpose of storing games there (so that I don't have to constantly think which game is more worthy of the space and junction link the other ones to the HDD).
The question I have about this, though, is - would adding a second SSD make it slower than just replacing the 120GB one with a larger one? Would the new SSD performance be somehow limited by the fact that the OS would be running from a different drive than the game? Or does it make no difference and a game installed on the new SSD would run just as fast as when I install them on my current 120GB SSD on which the OS sits as well?
