Do Ultra M.2 SSD's use PCI lanes?

I've planned on getting an Ulta M.2 SSD for quite a while now, but I'm worried about it using PCI lanes. I have two 1080's in SLI, and a sound card. I do have a small handful of lanes left, but I would rather not use anymore than that. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Most likely yes they do.But don't think it should be a big issue becouse of pcie gen.3's high bandwith.
