Do vrms and memory need active cooling?

I'm putting on an evga sc gaming cooler on my gtx 980 and I noticed that theres no direct cooling for either the memory or vrms. Is that fine? Here's what it looks like:

You can see where they are by the blue and tan thermal pads that were already on them
