Do we need Windows Update on to get the Windows 10 upgrade.

It's already the 29th now and I haven't got the Windows 10 upgrade. I know it will be rolling out in phases, but I left Windows update off and wonder. Do I need to do some Windows Update to get Windows 10 downloaded? Just curious...

Yes. Depending on how out of date your copy of Windows is at the moment, you'll need to update so you can get all the upgrade compatibility updates. It's always best to make sure you're up to date for security reasons too.

u can download the iso from microsoft here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZ0o0JE_we8 mount the iso and install (u can format the hard drive if u want a clean install)
