[SOLVED] Do wireless peripherals take longer to charge if your PC is in sleep mode?

Just got a wireless keyboard, and I'm fully charging it through a USB port on my PC before use. Would it make a difference if my PC is in sleep mode?

It should not make a difference unless your BIOS is configured to turn off USB charging when the computer sleeps or is turned off. By default it should not be configured that way IF your board even has that configuration setting in the BIOS.

I don't believe I've changed the USB settings in the BIOS. The keyboard charges when my computer is in sleep mode, but not when it's fully powered off.

I have the MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon

Should be fine. Just make sure to use the USB 3.2 ports and not the USB 2.0 ports. The 2.0 ports will charge much more slowly.
