Do you think we should abolish the filibuster altogether?

Keep it. It is put there by design. Our government was designed to be very slow as OMG states. Yet, the last few years it seems like they're trying to push things through as fast as possible without getting a true debate about the legislation out there.

We should take our time and think things out carefully before we push anything through you state which makes sense completely.Obama sometimes is to fast with his decisions in my opinion.

Agreed. Anytime someone can come to a conclusion as quickl as he does leads me to believe someone else is leading the charge. Any president should be slow to act and weigh any decision with great care before acting.

While many people fault Bush for Afghanistan/Iraq wars, I don't think people realize how long he weighed those decisions and that it was put before Congress to approve. It tooks many months for that. Whereas with Obama, he's been quick with many decisions and has, in my opinion, forced many of his personal beliefs/decisions onto the people without fair consideration.
