Question Do you damage gpu mosfet if you heat it with a heat gun

So my gpu has been faulty recently, and it sometimes post and sometimes not, and i think the main reason is the mosfet. I had head my gpu with a heat gun at 200c for 7 minutes multiple times, and i think it worsen instead of fixing it. All i heat was the mosfets and not the chip. So did i damage my mosfet because of that?

What GPU are you referring to? The GPU's you speak of have labelling on the MOSFET's to help identify them. You can source data on them off the www and as such find their thermal thresholds. If i were you I'd have taken that heat gun in hand after reading up on the MOSFET's tolerances. Very likely that you killed something that was otherwise...alive.

Randomly blowing hot air on a component is not likely to "fix" anything.
It may make things worse.
