Do you get treated badly on this site?

It seems like everytime i ask a question on PC Gaming category everyone is out to get me. It's so ridiculous. Do you ever get treated badly aswell?

No. I have only ever be treated well here. WAY before I was a Mod I built my First PC with help from the mods and community here and people were only friendly and helpful.

A lot depends on the manner in which you ask a question, and also who's answering. You must realize we have as many useless members as knowledgeable ones, and you have to sometimes determine for yourself which is which. You also have to consider that you may not always get the answer you're looking for, but that doesn't mean it isn't accurate.

If you have issues with somebody's behavior you can always report it to us and it will be handled if it's deemed necessary. As Tiny Voices has indicated, 90% of the time the answers you get will at the least be intended to be helpful, and more often than not be accurate as well. As in the real world, there's no accounting for jerks who might come along and try to stir the pot or create distress, but you have walk the higher road and simply offer them the response they deserve, which is to ignore them and only pay attention to the things that are relevant.

looking at your post history, if you are referring to your "can i run it" style threads i can see why you may be upset however there is nothing wrong with the behavior in those threads which has not already been addressed. as for the other recent threads you had, it seems those you were happy with.

if you feel you are ever being bullied, discriminated against or insulted you can always pm a mod about it and provide links to the offense and we will look into it. in general the atmosphere here at toms is very informal and relaxed and people are treated very well. i've been a member for far far longer than i've been a mod and one reason i'm still around is because of how well users are treated.

as far as the thread i saw a potential issue with:
to be very frank here, windows itself can use 2-3gb of ram on its own. add some more ram and then try. most likely you're running out of ram on launch so the game hangs or crashes before launch (or clicking the launch icon just does nothing).

Yeah its just that there are a lot of nice people on this site, i love this site but then there are those you don't care and bully but thanks mod you helped me very much!

The support on this site is amazing! i love the mods help, thank you for letting me know about reporting and ill make sure not to flip on others for giving me the most accurate info!
