Question Do you happen to know any driver that can make e-ink devices work in Windows 11?

I have a e-ink Dasung Paperlike 13.3 HD-FT that works in Linux but is not recognized in Windows 11 in the same computer, as I described here:

The e-ink display just turns blank as if trying to display something right after connecting it with an HDMI cable to the computer, and then right away it starts displaying a screen with the message "no signal". The display gets power over an additional usb cable. The device has a led that can be three different colors (blue, green, orange-red)and in the end, while displaying no signal, keeps orange-red. I think orange-red is a color that indicates some kind of problem.

Do you happen to know any specific driver that I should download to make it work in Windows 11?

I told the problem to the manufacturer, Dasung, a few days ago by two emails sent to the customer support's email addresses (contact add dasung dot com and support add dasung dot com) but they did not even reply any of these emails.

The no signal thing could mean the problem is potentially the driver for the GPU.
The Dasung has no drivers, its plug & play.

How long have you used the Dasung for with linux?

Acer don't seem to have updated the drivers for it for 3 years, I would run this and see what Intel offer - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html

That link offers 2 downloads, for wifi and bluetooth, and another download for

Intel® 6th-10th Gen Processor Graphics - Windows*. But they report this:
"

Installing this graphics driver from Intel will remove customizations from your computer manufacturer (OEM)
If a newer graphics driver is available from Acer, we recommend that you install that driver instead. To learn more about installing an Intel driver on your OEM system, refer to this article.

Well, I just rebooted and it worked alright back again.

Well, I have the same problem with the same Dasung display in a second computer ( NiPoGi Mini PC) with Windows 11 as well and installing the Intel graphic driver did NOT fix the issue in this second computer. In this case it seems the Dasung display seems to be trying to display something every second but without success.

Well, it happening on 2 different PC, it is the device to blame... or windows... either way its the combo that doesn't work. I assume you tried linux on the 2nd computer? I expect it would work.
