Do you have to buy a network card if you only use ethernet

Hi, stupid question I know, but I am planning on building a PC and none of the guides I have read / watched have mentioned a network card. Is it not necessary as long as you don't use wireless connections? Thanks

The motherboard will have at least one ethernet port already.
If you want Wifi, certain motherboards have them or you can get a wifi usb adapter or wifi expansion card.

Your motherboard will come with an Ethernet port, you do not need to buy a separate card like you used to 10+ years ago.

If you can do hardwired Ethernet that will always be better then wifi.
