Do you hook up your power and HDD case LED's?

Because the video card won't go all the way down in the slot if I do.

What motherboard is that? Are you adding a 2nd gfx card, and the slot puts the card directly over the FP header?

Yikes! They put the front panel header in the worse possible location for using a 2nd gfx card, didn't they. Poor design. I'm afraid I have no solution for that problem. Most boards would set the header at the bottom of the board to keep that from happening.

Well, it's actually the third slot that has the problem. Unfortunately, if I put the card in the 2nd slot, then the top card starts pushing over 85C. But if I use the 1st and 3rd slots, then both cards stay under 80C. Turns out I can hook up the power LED (barely clears), but not the HDD LED. So I guess it's not that much of a loss.

Pair of r9-280's. And yeah, the 3rd slot runs at x4, although that's not a big deal for my uses.

If I had it to go over again, I would have bought cards with reference coolers so I could put them next to each other. But as long as I don't mind losing the HDD LED, this seems to work OK.
