Do you need to make changes to your bios when you change your cpu?

I had an i3 7100 and i just changed it to an i5 7500. When i powered on the computer after i installed the cpu it told me "New CPU installed press F1 to make changes to the bios". but the chipset for the i3 7100 and the i5 7500 is the same. So what changes is it reffering to ? Do I need to manually adjust the power output to the CPU from the bios? the i5 uses a wapping 15W more than the i3.

P.S. I benchmarked the cpu with cpu-z and by actually playing a game and it performed as expected.

Solution
No. Reset the BIOS if you want, but I would think the BIOS would automatically apply a profile for the i5 7500 when it detected it was installed. It offers you the chance to make any changes if you want to, none should be required.

That was just the motherboard/BIO's way of telling you the CPU changed. The only time you typically have to change anything would be if you had previously manually overclocked a CPU. Even then, you likely get the same message you saw (or one that says something like overclock failed) and then just saving/exiting the BIOS will reset the CPU settings to default. No worries.

You are fine now it seems.
