I'm updating my CPU per all of you kind folk's recommendations (currently i5 4690k). My cpu is just not cutting it at high refresh rates and limiting my 1070ti, so I am swapping out the mobo, cpu, ram and upgrading storage. Can someone here kindly let me know if there are glaring compatibility issues or dumb choices? Nothing against ryzen but right now the cost is almost the same and the 9700k still beats out the 3700k AMD. Ordering tonight unless i hear otherwise from the community!
