If you already have a I3-6100 why not try the game and see?
Such games typically depend on graphics most in single player.
For multiplayer, cpu and number of cores becomes more important.

I dont have i3 6100, only gtx 970

The i3-6100 with a gtx970 will max out BF1 easily. In 95% of games, the i3-6100 outperforms the i5-6400, coming in right behind the i5-6500. That includes cpu/gpu killer games like Witcher 3.

Not a problem. In fact with that mobo you'll have plenty of space leftover. Looks like a good case, better than any other aero cool I've seen.
