Yes but the changes made it way faster. Check out the benchmarks even if you dont overclock the 6700K. Then check out what a small overclock for the 6700K can do.

1 more thing do you know how much fps I can get on Battlefield 1 with this build

At 1080p about 126fps if your system is running good.

You could probably save some money by downgrading the CPU to an i5 6500 or 6600. Especially if you're pairing it up with a GTX 1070. Unless you're doing some multi-tasking or streaming. But if you're set on an i7/GTX 1070 setup you're good to go for sure. Even at 4k you'll be able to play anything on Ultra settings with decent frames.
