Do you think the Titan X and the GTX 980 prices will go down?

I was thinking that if the price goes down, I'll just buy that that instead of the GTX 970.

Titan X? not a chance. Ever. 980? possible. But so far nvidia did not make any official announcement about it. Probably they just handle it on AIB level. And depending on the stock level brand new 980 price could end up stay the same instead of going down.

Considering the performance levels and pricing of the gtx 1070, either the 980 or the titanX is a waste of money at this point. Unless running 1440p, the 980 has been a waste of money vrs the performance of the gtx970 in 1080p
