You're wanting build a "laptop" out of desktop parts? And high end desktop parts at that?
What is the proposed CPU cooling situation?

What battery life are you looking to get from the 3 cell "73WH " ?
And the "180W AC adapter"? Woefully inadequate.

Are you building this on your own, or configuring it at some custom builder?
Who is the manufacturer of this laptop? Is it a laptop with desktop level CPUs and GPUs or is it a laptop with desktop components a la this Maingear laptop?

Going by the screen that's a pc specialist custom build/user definable laptop.

The issue here is how that 3060 mobile has been preconfigured.

They have a tdp that's lockable from 60-115w which can mean a big performance difference from bottom to top, and so affects battery life and power draw.

That said even locked at 60w the 3060 beats out a 2070 mobile so it's still a good gpu, just annoying that manufacturers don't let you know what you're actually getting.

That's right, it's pc specialist. I'll call them to have more info about that, the main thing that i was concerned of was:
-Battery:
Defiance Series Integrated 3 Cell Lithium Ion Battery (73WH)
-AC Adaptor:
1 x 180W AC Adaptor

I'm not an expert, I didn't even know the different type of configuration of the GPU, I noticed it was weird since I've seen other products prefabricated with similar components but a big difference with these 2 (such as Notebook Asus TUF Dash F15).
Do you know how can I check the different level of performance between GPU of different wattage?
And thanks a lot for the answer.

I'm not sure about that, I'll need to double check. the website where I have this option of choosing different components is called "PC Specialist".

There's a review on techspot with 2 different configurations of 3060.

Performance difference ranges from 0 to 25% depending on title.

That's from the 80w to the 115w models.

The issue is they can be configured right down to 60w so you NEED to know what you're getting as these are hard locked as far as I'm aware.

Re - the battery.
It really doesn't make a difference, don't expect to be gaming without mains power realistically with any high powered gpu, ypul be lucky to get 45 minutes out of it imo.

That 180w transformer will be enough for any mobile cpu/gpu combo.
