Found this used custom gaming pc that might potentially be a steal but I'm unsure for $1000

CPU: i9 9900k
GPU: RTX 2070
RAM: 16GB DDR4
MOBO: MSI MEG Z390 Godlike
Storage: 250 GB SSD / 1TB HDD

thats way more than 1000$
Also the gpu,is it the GTX 1070 or the RTX 2070.I dont understand it cuz you mixed the series with the model

Do you think the PC would be worth it for $1000 despite it being used and not open box?

I understand the components are worth far more in retail but I've just never done this before so I'm worried some components will be faulty or what not

i mean you said it yourself the components are more than double the price of 1000$.If you can send me the link of the seller so i can check it out.
