Do you stream YouTube at 4K when using an ultrawide monitor (3440x1440)? YouTube sert to auto defaults to 1440p, however, there are extra pixels going to waste at that resolution compared with a 2560x1440 monitor right? I'm not even sure it makes much of difference IRL, and videos stream faster at 1440p, but you're not getting the full benefit from having an ultrawide streaming at that resolution right?

Over and out . . .

4k is 3840x2160 and you don't have 2160 vertical pixels which is why its a 1440 (2k) ultrawide monitor.

Your monitor or GPU might have a mode to force it to a best fit but those tend to either stretch pixels that your missing or cut off the extra ones or both.
