im not new to pc gaming, but i am new to the whole multiple monitors and cool tech that have advanced in the last few years. I was just wondering if a docking station for a gaming laptop be viable? Im not trying to strech a video game out on 2 or 3 monitors. I just want to have game on my laptop screen, twitch or something on another monitor (if i ever want to stream or whatnot) and youtube or work on the other. Would that be a viable option? Im just trying to use for more practicial options like i stated, not trying to stretch games out.

would this docking station be able to utilize my laptop gpu and not the docking one?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FKTZLBS?tag=laptop-magazine-20

it says something like this on the product page " The dock's main HDMI port utilizes USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode (converted internally to HDMI for maximum compatibility) which has a direct pipeline to the host graphics processor (GPU), and the connected monitor will perform as if natively attached to the system. Video and photo editing and other resource-intensive tasks are possible assuming that the system's GPU capabilities are sufficient for the application being used. "

so could it be possible to actually achieve maybe what im wanting?
