So I just got my Acer VX15 Laptop this month and I decided to download PUBG and Fortnite.
Keep in mind my Specs are
i5 - 7300HQ
4GB Ram
1TB HDD
GTX 1050
When I play PUBG and go into a match for the first time, It gets stuck in the loading screen but I can hear the sound clearly. Then once my player automatically lands thats the only time I can see the actual game. So I start playing the game and I get massive stutters and frame drops every second. I dont see how my laptop couldnt handle this game with everything on low 1080 with and other settings in medium, except of course if my whole setup lacks ram.
So now I play fortnite to test if it plays the same, when I got in i put it all in medium 1080. I got in a match and it performs a bit better, I can roam around in spawn. I get in the bus and drop, while dropping, I get short stutters and occasional longer stutters but nothing too big. I play through the whole game and same thing, short stutters and occasional long stutters.
Do you guys think it's the ram or I got a laptop with bad hardware? Tell me guys what you think.
Sorry if I can be a bit confusing as this is my first time posting a thread here, thanks.
