Does 600W 6+2 pin x 6 pin supply 2x12V rails for MSI GTX 980?

I have OCZ600MXSP power supply. Will this power the MSI GTX 980 G4 Gaming card?

I would get a better power supply that has two 6+2 PCIE power connections.

Yes - http://www.msi.com/product/vga/GTX-980-GAMING-4G.html#hero-specification has 2 x 6+2 connectors.

The PSU is 2 x 12V rails. Just make sure each connector is off a different rail.

That PSU only has 1 - 6 pin and 1 - 6+2 pins , the card needs 2 - 6+2 PCIE connections.

Get a better PSU to run it,

Would an extra 8 pins to 6+2 pin power cord solve the problem as well? I'm looking at an unboxing, is the 6 pin to 8 pin adapter for power supplies like mine? I was hoping I just need a cable

Just buy a GTX 970, the GTX 980 isn't worth the added cost anyway. Gigabyte has released their short GTX 970. Would only need a single 6+2 connector for it.
