Does a 1x8 pin connector exsist in my PSU

so i was just wondering if the Corsair TX650 has a 1x8 pin connector because im getting the Asus GTX 970 Strix or do you get it in the box i dont really know how power supplies work so it would be nice if you guys could tell me about this 1x8 pin connector thing thanks !

I'm guessing what it means is it needs one connector, which has 8 pins. Not a connector with 8 pins in one row.

Often on the PSU, these are a 6+2 pin connector so you can use it on 6-pin sockets too. That PSU should have two of them

Yes it has two 6+2 pcie cables . That's the equivalent of a 1x8 + 1x8 .

But i dont get i i mean when i have seen reviews and stuff about the card it has only 1 big 1 pin with 8 holes not 6+2
