Is undervolting really necessary? Complete idle at 45C. While watching youtube videos its about
55C average. Gaming 60-84C usually in the 70's at least? How are these temps, are they normal?
I've heard a lot about undervolting this CPU but I don't want any instability. Could undervolting
actually help with stability in games to avoid lag stutters? Stutters rarely occur but it happens. Constantly throughout the day
the temp spikes 10-20C from 53-55C though. Wondering how normal this is?

What is your PSU model and it's age?

Undervolting could help if;
  • Its overheating
  • Because of overheating, the fans are running too loud
  • A little bit power consumption reduction (beneficial for laptops)

Your temps are normal (i assume fans are not loud either), only stutters is the issue. I doubt you'll fix stutters by undervolting, unless in some rare case, but you can always try. :)
