Does a apu FM2+ fit on a board that had an FM2 apu?

I have a MSI A68HM-E33 mobo and it has an FM2 apu. Will a FM2+ apu fit?

It looks like most APUs are supported.

In the msi page doesn't say that a68hm-e33 is compatible with 7870k apu but in pcpartpicker says its compatible. Now in msi says is compatible with a68hm-e33 v2 but i dont see the difference in both mobos.

I don't know. I would always go by the compatibility list the manufacturer provides. Most motherboards had a BIOS update for that CPU. If doesn't list it in the CPU compatibility and the BIOS description doesn't identify support, I wouldn't assume compatibility.

The user's manual has the procedure. BUT, even with a BIOS update, the 7870K may not be supported. It isn't mentioned in the high level summary for the latest BIOS, from early 2015.
