I have an Apple TV located in a second structure which is connected via WiFi to an access point in the house. Signal strength is good (4/5 bars). I have note issues with lag when streaming videos.

Would hardwiring the Apple TV to a wireless bridge make any difference in streaming?

I have an EnGenius EAP350 access point in the house to which the Apple TV connects to. Are there any settings which would improve video streaming? (eg. increasing transmit power).

A bridge can help with streaming under some circumstances. If for instance, the wifi antenna is badly located or the receiver is using an slower wifi standard than the AP. If you could position a bridge with a better line of sight to the router and run a Ethernet cable around the baseboard to the Apple TV, it might improve the streaming. But nothing will overcome the limitations of the wifi AP and the relatively poor reliability of wifi in the delivery of high quality video in many settings.
