I have a Cooler Master Elite 430 case, and I'm wondering if it needs standoff screws. It didn't come with any standoff screws, or any screws at all for that matter, but I know some cases are designed to not require standoff screws. I took a few pictures of the inside of it (which I'll hopefully attach). The area where the motherboard would be screwed into is raised, but it's not just a couple bubbles. The areas where the motherboard would be screwed in that are raised all sort of connect. The raising area part connects. It's kind of difficult to describe. Anyway, here are the pictures (hopefully):

So yeah, are standoff screws needed with this case?

The photo thing didn't work, so maybe here:

Solution

That is the case that I have and it most definitely came with stand-offs. DO NOT try to assemble your case + MB without them as it will short out the MB. RMA the case!
