Does a Gigabyte Gtx 780 fit a Zalman Z11-Plus case?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if the Gigabyte GTX 780 GPU with Windforce cooler fits into a Zalman Z11-plus case.
The length of the video card is 292mm.

But the Z11 case only advertises up to 290mm length GPU.

Does anyone with this case and GPU know if it's possible to fit one in?

The HDD cage cannot be removed from the Zalman right?

It'll be tight. The case has a maximum size if roughly 290mm

I got the gigabyte 760 and I am pretty sure that it is the same size as the 780 and it fit, barely. Like I can only fit a small wire in between the GPU and HDD case.

Exactly why I didn't get Gigabyte 760 but opted for Asus instead

if the GTX760 fitted then the GTX780 will fit wi th 5mm remaining ( ithink that the reqal clearance is 295mm but they deceased it to be sure that you can connect the power connectors easily

Yeah a smaller card would be nice for the space and the zalman isn't the greatest for space. But the gigabyte so far has amazing cooling and is running above the specified performance of what others said it would. Really just all preference and not too big of a difference either way you go.

What temps are you getting out of it? The Asus 760 idles at 30 in this case

Cool, max mine has hit it 67 or so running Far Cry on max, but of derailing OP's threads *inserts thread derailed pic*, back on topic
