Does a monitor with these specs exist?

Hi,

I'm looking for a monitor and have been struggling to find one that fits the bill. The monitor is to be used as a general purpose display for PC and console gaming as well as watching movies, web browsing etc.

Ideally I'd like a 27", 1920x1080, flat, IPS panel, with height adjustable stand (or one that sits low as possible) with response time/input lag suitable for gaming and (again, ideally) 24p support (for Blu-ray playback).

I realise there may not be something that ticks all the boxes so am willing to make sacrifices. I've only ever used TN panels and would like to experience the superior colour reproduction and viewing angles of an IPS but still need it to be quick enough for gaming. Alternatively, a TN panel with good picture quality would be OK (I currently own an XL2420T and find the image quality to be acceptable after setting to taste).

I want a 1920x1080 monitor as I'm not ready to make the jump to UHD or WQHD as most of the media I watch and many of the games I play are 1080p or lower and more than half the time I'm sat about 5-6 foot away.

I own a PC, PS3 and regular PS4 (not the Pro). In the case of PC, I like having sufficient performance/performance to spare without having to drop settings on the vast majority of games. With PS4, I don't want to add artifacts or additional input lag by upscaling. PS3 is upscaled with my current display already, but I imagine upscaling to WQHD or UHD probably adds more input lag/artifacting than upscaling to 1920x1080. I don't have a UHD Blu-ray player and the internet in my area isn't particularly great so 4K streaming can wait until my ISP pull their finger out of their backsides.

My budget is pretty flexible.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Edit: Should probably note: 27" is required, as is a stand that either sits low to the desk or is adjustable.

If I understand right, you are looking for a VA or IPS panel 144Hz monitor. Any monitor can play 24p movies.

Thanks. For some reason I didn't get an email notification (hence the late reply). I'll check them out.

Ah, just noticed the 27" models are all WQHD and the Mag 24C is both 24" and curved. I don't particularly like curved monitors and it needs to be 27" (the main reason I want a new monitor is because my current one is smaller than I'd like).

I've seen 1080p on my friend's TV (in game mode with picture enhancements off) plenty of times and that's around 46" and we were sat fairly close to it. OK, it doesn't look as sharp as 1080p on a 24", but I really don't think 1080p at 27" will bother me, especially as more than half the time I'm sat about 6-7 feet away.

I've been using 24" at this distance for quite some time now. 27" is the biggest I can go to without having to abandon the plans I have for speakers (Monitor Audio Silver 50s) so I'll have to make do. I love my hi-fi speakers. I started out with Wharfedale Diamond 10.0s and then got a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 2s which I fell in love with. I'm actually currently running the Wharfedales to acclimatise myself in preparation for the downsize when I get my new monitor because the Bronze 2s won't fit.
