does a motherboards chipset and cpu chipset have to be the same?

I was looking around for motherboard and cpu for my new build, and only just noticed the chipsets on the motherboard and CPU. The motherboard supports the socket of the cpu im getting (i5 4670k) but the chipset is different, the cpu chipset is z87 express and the motherboard's is b85 express, does this really matter? I've looked around alot and couldnt find any information on this, any help is much appreciated, thanks

All that is is the actual chips on the board, as long as the sockets match up, which they do, it works. My board has am AM3+ Socket but has a North Bridge AMD 970 South Bridge AMD SB950

Yeah, I was confused on that too. If you see the blue heatsinks on the board thats what they are.
