Recently my old motherboard has failed on me, so I've ordered a new motherboard which newer and more modern compared to my old mobo, but my components will still work perfectly fine. Everything matches up.
With my new motherboard coming in do I HAVE to buy a new OS disk with it? Or can I reuse the old OS that's installed already in my current Hard drives? $100 for a new OS just because of a Mobo replacement is a little step for poor ole' me

Solution
You'll need to buy another license if what you have is the OEM version. If it's the Retail version of Windows 7, then, you'll be just fine.
